It’s spring time, and we know that summer it’s just around the corner. I know we will have a busy summer this year. When we make our plans for the summer, we remember the words of our Lord Jesus  Christ : ”Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields for they are already white for harvest.” (John 4:35).
It is our greatest desire to be able to “gather His wheat into the barn” (Matthew 3:12),  so we are looking forward to the annual City Park Revival. By God’s grace we were blessed to meet brother David Johnson, and form a relationship. Many times our church was encouraged by the spiritual words of wisdom from this humble man of God. We’ve seen miracles performed by the Holy Spirit while we were in prayer together! The gifts of healing were manifested on several occasions.
It’s  that time of the year again. Preparation time. Prayer time. What can be worst than to hear these words: “The harvest is past
The summer is ended
And we are not saved” (Jeremiah 8:20)
God gave us the tools to harvest, and harvest we will!
Let’s pray to the Lord of the harvest, so that he will anoint us with wisdom and power, that the week of 9-14 of June 2008 will be a week of salvation for many lost souls in our city.
